The muse is painted with stucco, which offers textural and expressionist brushstrokes. A play of light and shadow makes the pictorial surface vibrate.

The artwork is inspired by the two statues “Scorpion Nymphs” by Lorenzo Bartolini kept at the Louvre Museum in Paris and at the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg. It is part of my “We ART the Champions” series.

The painting is made with acrylic colours and stucco on a cotton canvas mounted on a wooden frame. The edges are painted and the signature is present both on the front and back sides. The work is ready to hang and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The surface is finished with a double layer of matte final varnish.
