Symbols and Storytelling: Unveiling the Layers of My Art

The Role of Symbols in Art
In my artwork, symbols carry significant weight; they are vessels for stories and emotions that transcend spoken language. I draw inspiration from symbolism in art to infuse my paintings with layers of meaning that invite interpretation. For example, in some of my works, I use broken columns to represent both the frailty and the resilience of human nature.

Influences from Antonio Canova
One of the biggest influences on my work has been Antonio Canova’s sculptures, which are emblematic of the Neoclassical style’s focus on purity and emotional depth. His mastery of form and expression continues to inspire the way I bring subtle emotion into each brushstroke.

Visual Metaphors for Personal Interpretation
For viewers who might find themselves wondering about the elements within my pieces, understanding visual metaphors in art can offer a new way to engage with the artwork. My goal is to allow viewers to find their own interpretations within each symbol, making the art experience deeply personal.
